I assume you're referring to the TVRCC one which I also assume you've bought a pass for? If so it's not on Friday any more it's on Saturday at 10.20am and it's half an hour behind a pace car, which I believe last time was being driven by Tom Kristensen (not hanging about)All details on the TVRCC website (I assume you've access to the forum?)

Yes, it's correct that there is a Saturday parade lap session but this year TVR owners were offered Friday evening track time too in another deal. Since you mentioned Friday evening then this could be the event pass you have got. It's the one I wanted to do but work got in the way. I'm sorry I don't know the time it starts but someone else will know.

I booked it through the TVRCC as part of their package but I'm no longer a member and don't think I've recieved anything in the post as of yet.

The TVRCC 30 minute track session has been moved from Friday to Saturday morning by the organisers, this has nothing to do with the normal Saturday sessions you're referring to.

As I said previously the TVRCC Friday session has been moved to Saturday.

As you may have seen in the other topics, for circumstances beyond my or the TVRCC’s control, our track time has been moved from Friday evening to Saturday morning. The exact time of our session is 10.20 and we must be ready at our cars in the TVRCC area of the Club Enclosure by 09.50 AT THE VERY LATEST (A map of the Clubs Enclosure is on it's way so you know where the TVRCC parking area is). The roads in and around the circuit will be busy so please make sure you leave yourself plenty of time. A marshal will collect us and lead us to the holding area behind the main stands near the pit entrance; the schedule is very full so if you are not there at 09.50 they will not wait for you!
I do not think moving to Saturday morning is bad news – it means we can enjoy a few drinks with dinner on Friday evening and there will be a lot more spectators at the circuit on Saturday to enjoy our show
The organisers gave us the opportunity to fill a whole 200 car session to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of TVR at Le Mans. Between the UK & French TVRCCs we have sold spaces to 142 TVRs so will be sharing the session with another 40 cars made up of Sunbeams, Marcos and old Mustangs. Although it is a bit disappointing to be sharing the track with some other brands it gives us the ideal opportunity to show them and everyone else why TVRs are better The organisers pay a considerable sum to rent the circuit from the ACO and every minute the track is open costs them €s so it is understandable they do not wish to lose money running our session by selling some of the spare spaces to other clubs.
The only way to guarantee a TVR only session was for the TVRCC or me to pay the organisers for 200 cars in advance and hope we could sell every space. If we didn’t sell every space either the cost for each car taking part would need to be increased to cover our outlay or we would run the session at a loss, neither of which were viable propositions! It must be remembered that in 2010 a collection of Ferraris & Lambo’s paid much much more than we are for a similar session. Also, all prices relating to the event have increased considerably since the 2010 – we are actually paying less for 30 minutes than others are for only 2 laps on Saturday morning.
