MIL light

The mil light has started flashing now and then on the das, some times i can drive for miles and nothing then it will flash very quickly once or twice then stop, can anyone help.

Sounds to me (from what I have read in the handbook) that if something had gone wrong it would stay on constantly. Could be a loose connection somewhere???

Could it be low oil level, I'm sure I heard of somebody saying their's came on around certain corners and after they topped up their oil it was fine again.

Its not the oil level topped it up yesterday, it hardly uses any. Just been out for a drive done about 55 miles and it didnt come on once.

It would help if you stated which car.

Your profile says its a Cerbera so I'll go with that. The Mil light is directly contriolled by the ECU and it is trying to say that it has detected a fault somewhere. The usual procedure is to take it to a dealer/specialist to plug in the diagnostic software and chcek the car out.
