Blackpool Aan Den Rijn Holland
Discussion
A big thank you to Dries and the Blackpool Aan De Rijn TVR Boys!
As some know i am planning on starting racing in the TVR challenge and have been looking for a car for over a year. Well that search is finally over and i am now the proud owner of a beautiful Tuscan racer
A big thanks must go to Andy race for dropping everything and comeing over to Holland with me yesterday and for getting another TVR nut involved in racing!, infact it was my early involment with MonsterTVR and Andys exploits that helped push me in the right direction
We both had a great day [not sure he enjoyed my driving] as i got to see one of the best TVR garages i've ever seen! Alphen Aan Den Rijn is a small town inbetween Amsterdam & Rotterdam that just happens to boast around 40 TVR's all down to a bunch of great TVR guys!
We arrived in a small residential street and in a converted Mosque found TVR's of all makes and age from floor to cieling
along with a Winchester sofa and a fridge packed full of beers
The coincidences where crazy from the colour and number of the car down to my business partner living 2000m from where the car was stored! fate you might say!
Anyway after a few beers and some stories and a quick inspection a deal was struck and i'm pleased to say i'm bringing one back home
I have a few pictures, sorry about the focus i think i was a bit excited!!
Top People , Top cars, lets go racing

Thanks Nigel and Tim, Nigel i thought of you when i saw the Sag as its the same colour as yours!
I hope to test at Silverstone and be out for Snetterton and Oulton thats if everything goes to plan!
Little bit sad as i have just ended 25 years of sportbikes and watched my tuned GSXR 1000 drive of up the road
Sure i'll feel better once i'm out on track

Glad you liked it. Good to know it goes to a good home and will be raced again, which is actually what it is purposely built for.... Here on the mainland they don't understand fun and would want me to spoil it by making it less noisy. I think if that was what TVR wanted it to be they would have constructed it differently, what they obviously did not do.
Enjoy it, race the hell out of it. I will miss it, but i don't have enough space to keep her beside my other toys. As you saw my friend William needs quite some space for all his own cars at the mosque....
I see you at Spa, of course i bring my suit and helmet ;-)
