It can only help to offer the widest possible sales interest. Go for it.

Correct.......we've sold 2 cars now "via" Ebay. Neither reached the reserve but bidders contacted us and eventually bought the car. (Yes we did get the reserve and more!)

... for selling my TVR that is!
tips:
Set start price low, reserve realistic and mention the words porche, merc, ferrari, bmw, lotus, saxo V8, 16V GTE etc in description, so as to get as many people who may set specific car searches up (To get me you need ascona, cavalier, calibre and opel)

That winds me right up on E-bay, and as a matter of course I never open up the items that have titles like that!!!
You search for, let's say, 6100 because you want to buy a Nokia 6100. If I wanted to buy a phone I'd have typed in "mobile phone". If I see a title that's selling a.....7250 for example.......which says "Nokia 7250 inc battery. Not 6100/6600/3650.....etc..." there's not a cat in hell's chance I'm opening it!!
Sorry.....bit of a rant there, it really does wind me up when people do that!!!
