A sad end to a once great British marque -

I utterly enjoyed my Tuscan S and Cerbera 4.5 when I had the chance but it's time to rest in pieces.

We just need a small outfit to start up in Blackpool and use the other letters of the name for a new chapter...Job Done..who needs to spend millions on 3 letters. The new car should be called an REO first model..."Speedwagon" !! Or what about just calling the new venture..Wilkinson Cars Ltd !!!
Make a big publicity Launch with some of the old staff and make a big issue about not using the brand due to Russian indifference...
Isn't that what Prince did in the mid 80's

Apart from we enthusiasts, I'm not sure the TVR 'brand' has any marketable value these days.
Joe Public typically thinks they're uneconomical, expensive, unreliable kit cars that smell of glue and damp canoes. Most like to see them, but none of them would buy one.
Our Russian 'saviour' has only made things worse despite, I'm sure, his good intentions.

And that's exactly why the brand has considerable marketable value. It's the counter culture brand of automotive, and the more homogenised the automotive landscape gets, the higher its equity will be. His lack of experience and knowledge in the car industry and general
business acumen shines through in his article quotes.
Probably best if he goes into turbines as he's used to blowing a lot of hot air.
If anybody has seen his custom made black TVR, that really does some him up.
Don't worry the TVR name is not dead, its owned by everybody who has one.
And will continue long after this oligarch.

I think it would be appropriate for the rights to the brand TVR to be given to the TVRCC as I don't see what use Smolensky has for it. The company might not be producing cars anymore but the TVRs that were on the track at the Le Mans Classic show just how much we love these cars and I don't see that changing any time soon. Smolensky had the opportunity to create something unique and that has gone for good. Do the decent thing and let it go.
Good.
That website was written by a semi literate lackey and the product was pointless when existing UK firms were already doing it.
People simply do not want to do business with NS and probably wouldn't want to do business with an venture that he was revealed to be involved in.
We have the cars, we have the history, we have the specialists. Now we have the final piece, the silence of the company.

k all as a name in the Wind Turbine market so why not let it go at a nominal fee if someone wants it.
