Should we have a bit of a procession of Tivs and black arm bands to say farewell?

I wonder if Boris, as a car fan and true Englishman would allocate a bit of space one Sunday for a suitable tribute?

Publicity. You'd want as much media coverage of every car sporting their large image of NS with the word ARSE underneath. biggrin

It could be anywhere but London is the capital of England and there is already a Blackpool event?

Maybe the M6 toll would be a better halfway house? wink

I suspect organising a large parade of TVRs in London could prove quite problematic wink

You may remember that the main purpose of THE London Thunder, 2006, was to deliver a petition to #10 with a view to making the Labour Government, at the time, to sit up and take notice of the demise of the British car industry.

That petition probably ended up on Tony's fire the following morning.

If nothing was done then, then nothing will happen now.

I had a short blast down Bristol Avenue this afternoon......

The good news was Surface & Design ,D&C and Mike Vernon are stacked out with work ...

Dave Legg showed me the Jensen Inteceptor they are fully retrimming and a contract to do more....

and Dave Hankinson (S&D) showed me all the Chevvy panels (I think) they are working on ....

Plus lots of TVR work ... Good to see the ex-TVR lads doing so well.

Wasn't ever thinking of a protest of any kind. Just a celebration and to remind people of the cars.

Mocking NS and ensuring those who know him see it would have been the primary objective, hence the first thought of the location.

It's clearly all too upsetting still. wink
