Cerbera road tests

Hello

Could someone please point me in the direction of a good V8 Cerbera road test? A good honest, serious and objective no BS account by a regular but experienced and intelligent guy of what it is really like to drive, the whole experience.
Something written for people who already know what powerful sports style cars are like.
There is 'a good account of flying a Griffon Spitfire, by Jeff Ethell' on the net, that is the style of 'roadtest' I am after, I'm sure other people would appreciate one too, I've looked online but found nothing.

I that review of the Griffon Spitfire, the guy is most certainly waxing lyrically but I feel the review is accurate and very informative.

There was or is a homepage of people writing about their experience with their (mostly performance) cars that had definitely 1 or 2 reviews of a Cerb on it. But i can´t remember the name.
I found it through a link on Ph a few years ago.

Several around. Classic and Sportscars did a test of Chimeara, Griffs and Cerbera.

However - what do you need to know?

Beautiful classic british lines, with perfect dimensions. Its what every kid sketched as a sports car.
Coupled with a reliable but unique sounding lightweight V8 engine producing enough power for the lightweight body to embarrass a lot of other car on the road, and the driver if he's not careful.

Can be costly to look after, can be relatively cheap, just depends on the condition you get it in, how you look after it and what your expectations are. Servicing is £400-600, Tyres are around £110 each, my insurance this year went down to under £400 (fully comp, 7k miles and trackday cover). It averages about 22mpg.

However - I honestly don't think I've ever driven anything that evokes such raw emotions and assault on the senses. The engine noise just makes you look for tunnels, the flat handling around corners and roundabouts just makes you grin, and the acceleration...

Buy one, before they are gone, banned, or fuel becomes too stupidly expensive.

Oh and I didn't mention the owners. TVR owners by far are the best owners of any car brand I've ever been involved with. Friendly, helpful and will go out of their way for other owners. You can turn up to an event/meet without knowing anyone and there's always a friendly welcome.
