I was driving back from the South of France (and yes I made it both ways with nothing more than a dented wallet!) and I must have seen 3 other TVRs - 1 Chim - 2 Griffs! Unless I happen to have spotted 1/2 the French TVR population in one day - I feel very left out not to have been at the party. Had a great convoy between Paris and Calais. Made the drive fly by!

Where did you see them? If they were together with a Noble in close attendance, it could have been us from TVRc3c returning from our blast round Spa and the Nordschleife.

Was it this crew?

If so, then they're the reprobates that were at Spa for a trackday and then the Ring.

Griff50's right. That was the c3c group. We did Spa and the Ring along with the Noble.

Great circuits, great weather, good crowd, lots of fun
and no damage except for the plastic chair I rolled
at the hotel after it's front right wishbone collapsed.
Didn't spill the beer though !

The thrash back through northern France got faster and faster as the Cat departure time got nearer and nearer.Great drive and don't you just love the lane discipline over there. Soon back to earth though as we crawled up from Dover round the M25 etc.

I was also on my way back from the south that day and saw a light blue Chim, and I think it was a gold'ish Griff. I had a quick chat with the chap in the griff at the last toll before Calais and at the port. He was just on a weekend break and comming back a bit early. He said his starter had been playing up a bit with all the heat. Funny though due to seeing two TVR's I asked him exactly the same question (was an event being held in France).

I was lucky enough to be in the people carrier with the wife and four kids !.

I saw a Blue Griffith Near Chartres on that Saturday, Flashed and Tooted as we passed but didnt see the plate on it, so not sure who it was.
Didnt see any other Tvrs, but got questioned at nearly every station i stopped at about the Griffth and TVR, including one Dutch person who questioned about the Russian taking over TRV

Covered around 1.7k with no problems except for a HT lead shorting on the manifold. This included two 600 mile 8 hour stints. Didnt miss a beat
