How long is a TVR warranty?

Having had my car for about three months now, I have been waiting for the handbook as the factory had run out.

Now when I bought the car I was under the impression both from talking to my dealer and talking to other owners that the warranty on the current new cars was 1 year on the car plus 1 extra year on the engine. Plus of course favorable rates from the factory if things went wrong with the engine out side of the warranty period.

Now I have had my handbook, it seems there is just a one year total warranty with no mention of extra engine warranty.

Now I am not particularly comfortable about this. A 12 month warranty with no “good will” on a SP6 engine is just not good enough. I will have to check with the factory, but if this turns out to be correct, it’s going straight back to the dealer.

I have seen posts about warranties going up to 2 years on the car and 3 on the engine, is this right? If so it looks like I just got shafted!

Well it seems I have a two year unlimited mileage warranty on my car as its a Tuscan S. The hand book does not reflect this, but is apparently the case. Thanks to TMS for sorting that out. I think under the circumstances with new factory ownership ectra, I would like that in writing, just incase.
