That explains why my other half has been constipated - he keeps his supply of Sprint in the bog!

Recieved my copy yesterday and have read it already, the cheddar gorge feature even mentions this website. Only dislike about the mag is the adverts seem to be steadily growing in number but i suppose that can't be helped.

Worth it for the quality, though - IMHO

The mag landed this morning - a little late for some of the advertised events though!

Don't be too harsh. Sprint is effectively produced - and largely written - by one man. You can't compare it to a commercial magazine produced by a whole team of full-timers. He does a damn fine job, IMHO, and yes, while it's irritating not to get it on time, no-one else can do it better.

Here, here.

As a member of the MG owners club - 50,000 members and a huge team behind the mag at a big building in Swavesey, Cambs, I think Tony Conner and all else concerned do a great job with the club/mag.

As someone involved in magazine design and production I think the Sprint mag is exceptional quality - the stock it's printed on is fantastic and this is critical to the overall look and feel.

If the same mag was printed on a 60gsm uncoated, it'd look like the Beano!

To do a lot of the writing and then co-ordinate everything is no easy job and the product is a very good one I think.

Got mine yesterday too...

Opened the front cover... and there’s my car on pages 1 AND 2 you can even see the PH sticker in the windscreen!!

As far as content is concerned I particularly liked the report on the Gorge Rumble, but then, I did write it!!

It’s the first time I've been published… I think I might jack in this computer lark

Seriously, for those of you who would like to see a greater %age of content... put pen to paper (finger to keyboard) and send something in! I'm sure Tony and Mikey and other members of the team would be more than happy to receive it... and it is quite cool to see your words in print.

Cheers Dan

Got mine yesterday as well. It says somewhere in there that it was late due to waiting for piccies and narrative on the Back Home trip and for some other reason, it was intentionally late.

Personally I think it's a good publication and as Dan says it can only get better if people contribute. Unfortunately I haven't been arsed to yet but who knows in the future??

Slightly related topic (only cos I was reading Sprint at the time...)anyone see the Tuscans on Sky last night hooning round in the wet??? Now that takes skill. It was also quite amusing to see Peter Wheeler spinning off (although most cars did) - nice paint job too.
