Anyone on here fancy having a bash
Maybe a Piston Heads Team
If we are aloud???? (will need to speak to Ted)
I think the web page is www.totb.co.uk.
It would be good to show people what TVR's can do on the track(and beat the jap crap).
Oh and they make a DVD of the event.
Cheers
Dave

I tried to get an invite this year and they told me no!
I was told that even with an official timing slip they would probably not give me an invitation.......
You have to be a member of one of the invited clubs (200+, Scoobies, GTO's, Vetts, Skylines & Rover! etc....) or get a special invite from the organisers which is for the tuners.
I would loved a go. I would have been sh1t at the 1/4 mile as I cant get the power down but I can hit nearly 130mph over the 1/4 mile but over the mile challange I'd be in with a chance.
I had a run down to USC at Santa Pod last weekend...(saw a red cerby..not on track though)...and a particular Evo 6 would certainly take some beating.
Spinning on the line..1st run of the day..
1/4 mile - 10.28
over the line at over 140mph.
Very very trick!
luckily not a street sleeper so you know it means business!

I think you'd have a job on beating the 'jap crap'...900 bhp Evo's and 1000 bhp Skylines, etc.
I've never been to totb but I drag race a fair bit. (never seen or heard of a skyline in this country with a real 1000bhp its mostly pub talk) I was drag racing yesterday with people from the Cannoball, GTO owners club and the Gumball, really good day. Some good cars but I have to say not one GTO was faster then the Chimaera.
I think it would be good if we could just get some of the really fast car's together and TOTB 4 looked like a good way of doing it, But never mind.

Do you use nitrous in your first two gears or just 3rd,4th & 5th?
130 over the finnish line is very good what kind of times are you getting if you don't mind me asking?
Cheers

I organised the Skyline team for TOTB 1 and 2 and know the organisers very well. I also entered my Ruf GT2 in this years TOTB3.
If your Cerbera is really fast then I may be able to help get you an entry for next years event. What was your timeslip and where was it done (ET and Terminal).
Can you bring it to VMax6 for a Top Speed run?
Email me via my profile if interested.
Rgds
Guy
PS Yes one of my GTRs dynoed 1015bhp at the hubs on a Dynapack in the UK and has run 10.2 @ 155mph at Santa Pod under new owners, with a very poor start (circa 2.0sec 60foot time)......
