So after 10k miles my Steve Heath ARB drop links are starting to rattle. I did suspect they may need to be adjusted after several mods springs/dampers/alignments, tyre size changes etc over the intervening period.

My local Indy suggests they are probably worn out & should be replaced. 7 yrs 10k !

The question here is what do i replace them with? Can you still get SH links since his withdrawal, should i be looking at the Leven offerings - has anyone tried both ? or should be be looking at OE again.

I do recall they were the most single best upgrade they made to handling when i purchased the Chim .

just fit new rose joints to them, fit rubber boots to them too and should last longer than that. Mine only lasted around a year, but was due to corrosion than wear, a reason to fit the boots. mcgill motor sport will supply the rose joints and can get the stainless racing ones.

I have still yet to redo the rears.

See this thread and see what i had to do to mine.

I have the Leven drop links on mine. No rattles, rears have been on for 3 years and fronts for 6 months. Very well engineered and I am very happy with them.
