Well I bloody love my TVR(Cerbera)!
leaks water into the footwell, sounds rough as shyte at idle, has flat spots, manifolds cracked, heater/air con is laughable and yet it is still by far the best car I've been in let alone owned
.
Maybe I'm just not fusst but the above really doesn't bother me (albeit the manifolds will get done soon!).
This car puts a smile on my face more than I could have ever imagined before buying
.
What's more is the attention I get from others is so overwhelmingly positive that that in itself is a big part of the ownership appeal
.
They are dream cars aren't they? utterly over the top and silly but in such a way that you can't help but love them
.
Must be loads of people who feel the same?
Sorry for the silly post but I'm only 3mnths into my ownership and am still smitten
.

Only have a lowly chimaera, which I was planning to keep for just 2 years... only now, 5 years later, have I finally made the decision to move on. The last car I kept for this length of time was an old nissan cherry... kept that so long because i was a poor student. This time keeping it was nothing to do with money but to do with

I've had my Chim for nearly two years and love every minute of owning such a (temperamental) thoroughbred! Okay, so it has let me down on a couple of occasions but since "it" is actually a "he" then that's not bad going really! I even had tears in my eyes when he had to be rescued and brought back home on the car transporter
TVR's are simply...

The best!

I to am 3 months in to a Cerbera and agree 100% every time you press the start button the heart starts thumping. Yesterday had a run round the M25 from the A3 to Hatfield I had to go through the Hatfield tunnel the sound was out of this world. I liked it so much pulled of next junction so I could back through twice!!
What a Car

Our son went to Hatfield uni and there are a couple of tunnels to blast through......always great for a laugh.
Ray always drops back a bit though so he has a nice run through the tunnel....
Had people clapping and
One chap in a soft top Peugeot actually caught us up after the tunnel and came alongside us on the inside. I opened my window and he yelled that following us through had made his day! then dropped back with a huge grin on his face.......
Course....that in turn made Ray's day.....
We've had our Cerb for 4 years now..........Ray gets withdrawal symptoms if he doesn't drive it every few days......
...//P//

That's what I'm talking about
. I'm sure people feel satisfied with Posche's but I don't think the owners will feel quite the same as us TVR owners eh?

Nothing lowly about a Chimaera Darren although I'm sure you'll love the Cerbera when you get one

Well im nearly a week into Cerby ownership....and for a 7am shift start, strangely I seem to be getting up 30 mins earlier!!!
In fact every journey has some kind of 20 min detour routed in.
Even did my monthly shop in it today - just couldnt bring my self to drive the mondeo!
Dont think the dogs will want taking out in it though!
