Whilst spending 2 hours trying to find an interior shot of a 250gto I came across this site.

www.fortunecity.com/silverstone/studebaker/396/

Go to *OTHER* then *CLASS3 300-400bhp* to see the pic.

Did anyone here post it? 210mph can't be right, can it?

I think most tuscan owners have had 210 mph on their speedos at some time. i remember my time,210 came up realy fast - then I changed into 4th gear then 5th. the speedo is so unreliable it was showing 210 when i was only doing about 50 mph true road speed. elvington proved the tuscans even in RR/S form are no match for a cerbie flat out, and the best cerbie was 188 on the clock, we were passing tuscans like they were standing still (almost). 210mph is about 30-40mph worth of speedo error ...

I love the Cerbera, and I always will

I have seen that speed on mine during my morning commute on the M4. Even then I was overtaken by an astravan!

I've always said that one day, when I've grown up, I want one of these. Fastest vehicles on the road.

crikey .. if that was from evo just think how fast a cerbie would do?? .. there's a pick of ben pike's (?) car somewhere else on the site showing 180 .. he just wasn't trying was he?? and was the evo car tweaked in any way for the test?
call me a cynic ("you're a cynic!") but I find it very hard to believe. anyone with a tuscan S like to take me for a spin to prove it's correct????

Hmm, the front splitter lived up to it's name during one high speed run and came away from the bodywork with a bit of a bang.

Evo claimed they would try again in the near future.

Evo did the test and the front splitter came off during it. They also reckon that the Tuscan hit a true road speed of (from a hungover memory) 169mph rather that what was shown on the speedo.

That sounds reasonable to me !

Bring on the Cerbera ...

If Pikey's GPS is to believed, he got 200.2MPH out of it - see bottom of page http://web.ukonline.co.uk/pikeynet/stuff/runningcosts.htm
