I ordered an Bridgestone SO2 from Mytyres and I thought it was pole position one but it isn't (they don't have any). I have 1 pole position already on the rear of the car. Does anyone now if the pole postiton and non-pole position tyres are very different i.e. can I fit this tyre? If not does anyone know where to get SO2 PP's from?
Thanks

Don't fit them on the same axle. The SO2 is a harder compound than the pp and I think the side wall is a little more ridged. The SO2 is a Porka rear tyre and works well for rear engined cars. I have SO2's on the rear and SO2pp's on the front of my Chim. SO2's are OK for the road and last longer than pp's but you will notice a slight, and I mean slight, drop off in progressive break away.

Thanks for the info guys.
So does anyone know who has stocks of SO2 PP's?
Or does anyone wants to buy my other SO2 PP-it only has 1500 miles on it?
I could be wrong... but I thought new SO2 PPs were like hen's teeth now?
Well they can't be that rare as no-one offered to buy mine. Mind you no-one told me who stocks new ones either!!

I think the problem is that they're not much use as one-offs, given that you should really fit them in pairs. When I first got the Cerb it had a different brand of tyre on each corner, and I've honestly never driven a car so unstable.
