Hi Everyone
I posted a thred early in the year about the Knebworth classic car show, on the August 30th bank holiday Monday.
Well its next weekend!! so i would like an idea of how many cars a likely to be coming. if poss could you reply to this thred, so that i can compile a rough list.
I have made arrangements with the organisors for us to have our own area, and will be open to all types of TVR from whatever region you come from. There are no limits on number's of cars, so the more the merrier. The cost on the day is £6.50 per person, i tried to get it cheaper but the price is fixed by Knebworth house, not the organisor's, so sorry about that!
Diane and I have been for the last two years, and have enjoyed it both times. We had a very good turnout of Tivs last year, and Would like to see even more this year.
There is a massive Auto jumble/Funfair/Displays in the arena, and you can even go round the Big House.
We are coming from the Essex Region, and will be going by convoy, our meeting place will be at the Birchanger services, junction 8 M11 Bishops Stortford,
just follow the signs to the services. We must be in the Show by 10.00 am, so if you are joining us in convoy, could you be at the Services by 8.55am, to leave about 9.10am sharp!!(please).
If you need to contact me for more info, you can mail me via my profile, along with a mobile phone number if you wouldn't mind.
If you are going to the show from other directions, and we haven't met before, look out for the Midas Yellow T350c. please come over and say hello.
So lets make it a bigun. Diane and I look forward to seeing you there !!.....Dave
PS... Remember to bring your picnics/Hats/brollies/chairs, and most important of all(mowerman) your car cleaning bits and bobs(not compalsory)

In case you've forgotten, Dave, count me in.

Not sure what you mean by 'massive autojumble'. I counted about 70 stalls last year. There are 9600 stalls at Hershey this October, a 26 mile walk if you do them all

Thats fine, But the organisors want 'show cars' in their designated areas by 10.00am, or there is a chance that they won't let you in, because of traffic movement in the public areas, for insurance reasons or something!
Look forward to seeing you there...Dave

Dave, stick me on the list too.

I don't know how the possy is made up, but would you rather I bring S3 or (Ex-Plunkett's) Chimaera?

If I rope in wife & maybe in-laws, I could bring both!

I'm thinking of coming along, just got my Chimp back after 3 weeks in Silverstone TVR sorting out a split manifold and lumpy engine.

I know this is a silly question but can you confirm what day everyone is gathering as I understand the event is on Sunday and Monday.

I'm pretty local to Knebworth so will meet there hopefully before 10.00, i'll be in a Blue Chimp..

Hi kieran
Bring em both (and the mother in law !!!)
So far i have 15 cars coming.
This is one show that we go to where the TVR's get more attention than anywhere else we go, so it looks like there will be lots of Tiv's for the public to "drool" over.
Look out for our Yellow T350c, and make yourselves known to Diane and I.

Dave
