Shuffling some paper around and found this back from when we started looking for TVR's. Wonder how many we can locate?

the 500 griffith, P362 JTR used to be mine, owned between 2006 to 2010, is now powered by an ajp8 4.2, was owned up to very recently by C15 ? on here, now sold to a chap in Russia.

I originally bought the car privately from a chap in Slough, he in turn purchased the car from Ferhurst I think in 2004-5.
just to add the carpets were green with a butterscotch leather interior.

Wow the mileages are around the same or more than most for sale today hehe

Tvr: the only marque which depletes miles as it gets older.

Christian,

Let's just say a luxury goods dealer from Austria was on the phone phone straight after me posting here on PH.

I asked for a £5k deposit to be transferred to my account within 10days and I'm still waiting: sleep

Despite which pressure from the said person to give up the car in advance 'the money is on the way', and a 'Polish registered Truck is coming to pick it up as we speak', kind of thing.. argue

If I dont release the vehicle they may take it by force, as a 'verbal contract is binding', under EU law... laugh

At least I didn't give the address where the car is, or any other information about it. Unless they are planning to make one with the chassis number etc. from the copy of the V5C details, I gave them

All in all, they have a very serious looking website, and the guy spoke with a very Eastern European accent, but very good English.. I thought it was TVR at first, but it wasn't, have since found a few such calls going to Supercar & Sportscar owners throughout Europe, in various forums.
