Hi Guy's,

I think this gearbox was used by some of the circuit race guy's.

It is an ex BL Motorsport Rover V8 gearbox.

I wanted to know what version of Getrag gearbox it is an also the availability of bell housings for it?

Thanks

Hugh

Looks like the "265" Getrag, used in older Jaguars bullet proof looked at one ages ago for my engine. People use them with 600bhp engines fine.

Search on Google Getrag 265 and you will find lots more...

p.s. cars have been stolen for this gearbox I found lol

The ingoing shaft had more teeth on the Jaguar (i.e. XJ-S) version. In Germany it was as well used in 6series BMWs and Opel cars of that period.

Tanks guy's that's great.

There is a 265 stamped on the bottom of the box, it can be seen in one of the pictures.

I had it rebuilt by R&D Motorsport a few years ago, but never used it.

Any idea what it would be worth?
