Whats going on at TVR factory today ?

All dealers summoned at the factory, for noon today. Only got notified on Thursday.

Apparently, Our friend at the top is actually doing good things in the butt kicking department and we should all see the results soon.

I hear he is doing good things for staff morale as well.

Looks like he has a good head on his shoulders.

I don't think they know why they're going.
As far as staff morale goes - sounds like he's really interested in pleasing the current staff which can only be a good thing for TVR. I went into a dealer on Saturday in a really anti-TVR frame of mind and came out contemplating colours for a new car!

Erm, it means its not definately off. I need to speak to the factory (with tail between legs) and discuss my options...

Tried phoning the factory repeatedly today and couldn't get through to anyone important.

Admittedly, that's not much different from normal...

Was briefly at the factory today and can only vouch for what was said earlier with regard to moral. Those I spoke with were very positive and thought very good things were being done.

Would also like to say thanks to Service too, excellent as always.

The new owner would hardly want to piss off his work force at the moment. The building of the cars is knowledge that the workforce have and not the company. Once systems are set up and that knowledge extracted and recorded, only then can you piss off the work force, as they are no longer required.

I take the point, but from what I've heard do not agree. If the rumours about improvements are true regarding the working environment for the staff, this isn't a short term measure...

Now that could be a good thing. I often hear that my problems are low priority and that all efforts are being spent on race results.
