Thanks for a good read. I was wondering when someone was going to pick up that car - it was a bargain at the asking price! The non-original engine meant that I couldn't import it to the USA, otherwise it might have been on the cards.

Lovely blog. I wish you as much fun as I have been having with my first TVR this summer. I too have been on Yokohama Paradas, and can confirm that they do NOT do standing water. But they are superb track day tyres that work on the road too, and in my Chimaera's case they perfectly match the brakes, meaning huge lairy lock ups when i get the braking point hopelessly wrong (lack of driver talent) are a thing of the past.
