TVR is garaged for the winter been stored for a while. not on trickle and the alarm has suddenly started to go. NOT as loud as normal but it wont stop. The blipper wont work and the car is locked. I can get in as the roof is off and windows are down. How can i get the little sod to stop. I am assuming the battery is dying. would hooking it up to the trickle charger stop it. or just make it go off worse. IE LOUDER smilesmilesmile
Advice please its driving me nuts.
Dont have acess to the passenger side as the garage is a tight fit. Cannot currently get the car out of the garage as sons car is on drive and i dont have a key.

Mine did this and it's a bit of a nightmare. Usually means something has died and likely in your case the battery.
I'm not entirely sure if hooking it up to a charger will have an effect, the only way I could stop mine was to get the grille off, remove the siren itself and drop it in a bucket of water.

Bit dramatic perhaps but did the job. There may be a less destructive way, suggest a quick call to Carl Baker would get you the exact course of action to take

Had this in France, moisture in alarm siren caused tamper sound off. Battery cut off didnt work as siren has its own battery. Turn ignition key and then turn on all lights fans to drain main battery quicker so it will eventually stop. Dont leave it flat, charge/replace asap.

The alarm has gone off as it thinks someone has taken the battery off. I'd suggest you attach your accumate/charger for an hour or so and once the battery has some power then disconnect the +ive terminal on the battery for 10 - 20 seconds and then as you re-attach the terminal press the fob to reset the alarm.
