Cheapest place to get decent leads?
Discussion
My advice is worth what you pay for it
Seriously, if you can find better than Tim's prices well done. I've never felt he was particularly expensive - £3 per plug extender is an absolute bargain when most people pay £8 for instance. I also never had any delivery problems, but then he did live ten mins down the road from me.
Cheers,
Steve.

I wouldnt say its wasting your time putting back what was originally on it.
I agree that the magnecors are far supperior.
and if you are doing a lot of track days etc are more worthwhile getting.
I have had one lead (original type) go in nearly 3 years and that was only because it had somehow moved around and touched the manifold
I suppose its you pays you money you take your choice.

You will find the plug shroud for the Magnecor kit is a non resistive type therefore cheaper than the TVR/Vauxhall resistive type.
My 350i is to appear on Jeremy Clarksons DVD and has to be fireing on all 8 this weekend. Rang Tim at ACT yesterday and ordered leads, plugs, dizzy and rotor arm. Explained the urgency and they arrived an hour ago
You will not get this service elsewhere IMHO. Also i find that he is always willing to give technical advice anytime i ring him even if i dont want to buy anything. Many a time Tim has got me out of the poo and saved me hours of work.
PS thanks Tim for sending the stuff even though my credit card was denied!!!!
(will sort it out later)

Magnecore from ACT, no question about it. Got them for the S3. Would get them for the mini if I catually drove the car more than once a year. Good quality, garaunteed for years, this is good as you're supposed to replace them once a year if you do a lot of miles and it has been said I cover more miles than the starship Enterprise.
