...in the past 6 months?

It seems like there are an awful lot of people selling up for various reasons. Also what is the next car going to be?

We have traded ours in for various reasons, the main one hoping to save a few pennies. We have a non TVR on order to replace it.

Well, I will soon be amongst those ranks. Principal reason is that I am just finishing an MBA course that has cost me £17,000 for one year's fees, plus expenses, plus I have not worked since July 2003 and as yet I do not have a job to start in October.

So, I've had fun in the sun with the Tuscan, but regretfully she has got to go. I'll be advertising her in about 2 weeks time. So anyone wanting a concours winning Crystal Topaz Tuscan that has just had the big service by the TVR factory, drop me a line.

I sold my 4.0 Chimaera 6 months ago and bought an S Series a few weeks later. I just sold the S Series a couple of weeks ago and collect a 4.5 Chimaera this weekend.

Cheers

Well, we thought we would be selling the Peril around this time.....

We expected delivery of the Typhon around now but with the changes at the factory that has now changed.

Apologies to all those who expressed interest for when we sell....but there is no way Ray will let her go until Castles have got the new one for PDI.

Sad to report that my 500 is now in the PH classifieds.. it's house time. The question of what next though.. well for a while I wont have a 2nd car, but in a couple of years time I really think a TVR again. There's nothing else that does it for me, and I love the club ethos

Anyone selling a relatively new Tuscan or Tuscan S had any decent offers? My S is not even a year old, 10000 miles and the best offer i have had is £33,000. Im gutted. Was hoping to get over £35,000, maybe even 36k or 37k. This sort of loss on a car is the reason why i probably wont go back to a TVR once sold. 35%loss in a year, shocking. Think i'm gonna go for a 360 Modena or something with better residuals.

The sale is financially motivated...

Hopefully I'll be back in the new year.

We are attempting to sell our Griff500 now, due to family addition (PH ad: High spec, low mileage etc...). I'm getting some feedback that our Griff is falling between two desirable ends of the spectrum: 4.3BV and Sepentine500. Even despite the high spec (PAS, full hide, aircon) and it being the 2nd most powerful standard Griff Mark Adams had ever tested (he said!).

We have wondered about a swap for a Cerbera, but will probably just make do with the shopping trolleys for a while. Has anyone used the TVR childseats? From what age are they rated?

Phill sold his Chimaera two and a half weeks ago. It has now gone to live in Scotland

The sale was financially motivated and it has been replaced by a 2001 volvo T4. As he couldn't justify the cost of anything that would replace the TVR he's gone for all the gadgets instead It's not as much fun, but it is a lot more comfortable for all the driving he does in it
