Looking for a guy called Ash
Used to work at Austec so most likey to be in the Surrey/Sussex area

Normally seen mapping cars

A friend of a friend neighbours dog third owner is looking for him to do some work, nothing bad don't worry.

Any one know him or his where abouts?

The only Ash I can think of would be the bloke behind the "Pheonix"..... probably not the same bloke

if you do get his number i would also like to talk to him about a mappable ecu for the tuscan he mentioned to me wile mapping it last year, could you pass on his number please.

Ashley left Austec to set up on his own - in Horsham IIRC. I've no further info I'm afraid though. biggrin

Ash was well into his cars, and used a different tuner for his cerb...... he had a bit of an online spat with Paul from Austec which lead to them meeting at an open day......
Seperatly Ash was starting to build his TVR Phoenix project, but had issues with engine build elsewhere and at some point Austec and he were doing business to build the Pheonix.... then Ash had some personal issues and the story as I know ends ( and all from my recollection some parts maybe slightly factually incorrect)

The last I saw was the body shell round the back of Austec's but this was 2 - 3 years ago.

I'm guessing he is not the same Ash the tuner, but he was a very knowledgable guy and when on form a good PHer, often spoke his mind black was black, white was white with him ... miss his posts and some were just pure comedy at times.
