How many Salvage cars back on the road

Not suggesting we go through all the usual Cat D or C boring stuff I love mine, there worthless, or should never been cat D etc

But How Many TVR,s are Back on the Road after a "total loss claim" and if back to standard or modded

My 1992 4 litre Griff was beyond economical repair in 1996 but put back on the road, tweaked chassis and all!...

My 1998 cerb is cat c and has been totally rebuilt with a ls1 5.7. Hopefully all goes well will be back on the road next month. Just needs a trip to VOSA for a check.

My Tuscan was lost in the fire at TVR Power, it was then purchased by TVR Dean for repair, I assume it was sold on, don’t really know how to find out as the registration number was removed

I suspect quite a few given how easily they are written off. Apart from the enormous crashes I suppose the only cars that don't make much sense to repair are ones with fire damage. Would an engine fire result in a melted chassis as well as a destroyed engine?

I killed my 2000 Tuscan back in 2009.
I know it was bought by a breakers but they were advertising it as repairable.

Dont know what happened to it in the end.
