The best donor car for a TVR TUSCAN "Challenge body

I'm looking on some info about putting an tuscan challeng body on a TVR car.
I did some searhing on the web about the wheelbase and front and rear track bud I'm getting different numbers an s seems to sorter and a tuscan longer

It was done in the 90s by the current owners of David Gerald TVR. They used a 390SE

Chim/ griff chassis is too short.
T-car chassis wheelbase is a couple of inches
Longer but easy enough to move the bonnet a little further forward and mod the
Back of the arch

I have a ridiculusly cheap Tuscan challenge Body and a very cheap Tuscan Challenge chassis for sale if any use to your project PM me.

Yeah why not just use the correct chassis, it's a better chassis anyway! Easy enough to get hold of too and will save a shed load of faffing about... Give perry a call...

A lot easier to register it as a road car if its got the running gear from a s6 Tuscan under it though. A re body on existing running gear would qualify for the original reg, so no iva.

Also in not convinced the challenge chassis is better than the later t-cars.

Also bushes better for road use and better uprights etc.

If it was a racer yes bung a challenge chassis under it, but as a road car later chassis has lots of advantages especially with a few bodies lying about

As an aside, I saw what appeared to be a Tuscan Challenge body, wrapped in black plastic, on the back of a trailer being towed along the M4 towards Heathrow yesterday. Being towed by a black van with what I think were Polish plates.

Anyone know anything about that?
