shocked by the noise

parked outside the local shop this evening in newly acquired Tuscan which has decatted exhausts. man walks over, i assume he will say great car noise etc. he says "DO WE ALL HAVE TO SUFFER THAT XXXXING NOISE, IT'S DISGRACEFUL ETC ETC" i said only if you run very hard to keep up.. a bit lame. what would you have said?

was your engine running at the time? I would have dialed in at least 5K a couple of times with the loud pedal then said "pardon?"
Last night whilst filling the car up I had to endure the bass thumping from one of the staines-massive whilst he went into buy cigarettes.. would much rather have had a burbling TVR sat there to listen to..

Additional reductions in traffic noise were realised through the implementation of a further EU directive in October 1996 which saw a reduction of 3 dB(A) for passenger cars. Overall, noise emission limits for cars have been tightened from 82 dB(A) in 1976 to the current 74 dB(A). This vehicle when manufactured naturally falls within these limits" If he's still standing there when you get to the end just smile and then BLIP THE THROTTLE

Good isn't it I would have bundled him in the boot, driven him at high speed for about 25 miles out into the back of beyond and told the stupid old tw*t to get out and driven off...............

t, I had 25 minutes of bloody Red Arrows screaming over my roof top 
last Sunday!!! Did I phone up the RAF and complain, erm excuse me old chap your areoplanes are making a frightful din, would you mind calling them back to the airfield where they belong.
But then I thought 20,000 peeps are enjoying the display, and so was I

For some reason it always seems to be old men who are the poxy moaners, why is this.
