600bhp Rolling Road

Open day at Austec on 19th

Austec Racing - based near Gatwick Airport - are having an open day on Sunday 19th September.

Amongst the attractions will be some new alloy wheels to fit TVRs, ACT's range of products, a barbeque and remapping specialist Mark Adams will be on hand.

The best bit though is that their new uprated rolling road will be available for free. On a first come, first served basis, owners can get their cars on the rollers and see what state of tune their engine is in. The new road is now rated up to 600bhp.

Austec are also now offering a remapping service for Cerberas.

BOLLOX! Why do people have to go and organise things like this when I'm away. This is exactly what I'm looking for as I can't decide whether to upgrade the car or get a newer one.

Inconsider@te b@stards.

On a lighter note, hope its a success and everyone who can gets down there. They did the exhaust on Smaug and have to give them a big thumbs up.

My Cerbs in there for some work that week, wonder if they'll need a test subject before the open day?

Oh OK, twist my arm guys, use my car if you have to

A thought from Paul and the guys at Austec:

"Aha Nick says we got razz the of his car all day long to show how the dyno works - 8 hours at 6000 rpm will make it good and warm"

Go for a remap and better asp[ration you know it makes sense!

Just what I wanted -- have the Taraka upgrade in the car for 500 miles now and it feels like its had a dose of Olympic disqualification steroids -- now to find out how much!!

Bugger moving house on the Friday so will miss the chance to pin Mark down to a decent chat when he is not too busy . Nearly ready for return to heart ache that is tuning a Tiv .

Should be interesting to see what the Cerbs make now there is a Tiv friendly RR in the home counties. There might even be some seriously surprised owners as well .

If you fit into a childs seat you're welcome to a blast in my S, otherwise I'm sure you'll not be short of volunteers...

Plenty of roundabouts in that area too, so perhaps a demo of power oversteer may occur
