Hi guys.I'm having my engine rebuilt & have been offered the choice of putting in some racing valves. Not being that technically minded I was wondering what the benefits would be to doing this?. Is it worth it or is it a bit pointless unless doing a lot of other stuff at the same time?
It's a speed 6,going from 4.0 to 4.3 ,lightened balanced crank & rods,Ross racing pistons, full rebuild with basically all new liners, valves, springs, followers etc etc.Ecu being changed to Omex as well.
Should I add the racing valves as well?
Cheers.

The term racing valves doesnt mean anything what actual spec are they?
Racing spec stuff is often usless in a road car as its not designed to work in the same way i.e. some racing wheels are fantasticly light, but if you ran them on a road car they would break the first time you hit a speed bump.
other things are designed to perform at a very high level but also require frequent replacement as they wear out quickly..
