Big M... Spread Across Bonnet !!!!!
Discussion
Okay....so not a TVR topic, but she's a regular on P/H and this forum and she has finally found her FTO.
She even has her own Big M plate......
Picked it up today and happy as a bug on a rug.
Beautiful deep blue, almost purple in some lights it's a lovely car.
Griff is still tucked up in the garage.........
Nice one Debs.....

Nice car and cool plate Debs!
Surely spacing a plate like that is illegal officer![]()
Actually, what is the rule? Can you space how you want as long as it's still legible?
The rule is that the whole number must be centrally positioned (even spacing at either end of the plate). The first sequence of characters should all be evenly spaced as should the second sequence. The gap between the first and the second sequence is supposed to be roughly the same as a "1" would take up.
There are no exceptions to this that I am aware of. The positioning of the "bolts" is a bit tricky but as a rule of thumb they cannot be used to alter the appearance of the number so if the bolt goes through a yellow or white area it too must be white, if it goes through a character it is supposed to be black.

Plate itself is a bit long and the spacing is illegal too but who gives a s**t, i wouldn't if i saw you down my way! Its the itallic style writing that really lights my fire (sad i know) usually on some sad nova/corsa.
