Hi, i have just seen an ad on fleabay for a 2000 tuscan for £3300 buy it now. is it too good to be true?. More than likely. I would provide the link but thats beyond my tech skills, sorry. These cons are getting more and more common, i just hope that people are aware and not falling for it, I know how exiting it is to go and buy your first tvr and to find out that you have been taken for a ride would be devastating. Anyway please have your eyes wide open and take off those rose coloured glasses if you you think you may be getting a great deal.

Just copy the web page and paste it here.

Be interesting to see what a £3,300 Tuscan looks like.

The give away is when they say there's no dents in it and most good used engine is that price

Just done a dvla search on it and it checks out even taxed till october 2013, but something is very suspect.
Perhaps someone will end up with a good looking tuscan for s series money but i doubt that very much

Does anyone know if other marques have as many "cheap" vehicles come up for sale? as it seems as tvr gets it fair share

There was a Cerbera advertised just like this recently.

Seller with 0 feedback is also a giveaway, and sometimes the text is pasted as an image to avoid being picked up by filters.

I dare say he could post up 'photos of one of our cars and it would 'check out' also.

Same car for sale 14th Nov, taken off on the 15th after being reported, e-mail details look familiar as well.

I am hoping it was just a poorly worded question....!?
It's clearly a scam but not everyone will know how the scam works.

Sorry if i made myself look stupid and there is no need for adult supervision. I just wanted to make people aware and not jump in feet first and accuse someone of fraud. Its better to have facts and more info before casting any judgement.
