Carbon fibre pattern leather interior

Hi mate, I'm away in a hotel, I have alcantara carbon effect leather in mine. Ill post when i can for you. Mines a carbon weave effect on the binnacle, doors and part of the dash, etc.

Right, my car is getting some touchups and a respray on the front, to remove the dreaded stone chips, so here are a couple of photos that just about show the carbon

Just under the window sill area in silver, the carbon alcantara runs parallel, then the full door, where the pocket area is.

Mmm, this is harder to tell, but basically, its the binnacle, and around the gear stick area.

You will have to excuse the sweet wrapper in the foot well in the second photo :P

I've looked at the original photos and it's much better quality, so I can email them to you. If you can wait a week, i'll probably have the car back then so can take some specific photos of this.

If your referring to my post, i mentioned carbon effect leather and looking at the 'Build Sheet', it's called, 3D Carbon Leather. God knows how they weaved the leather to do the effect but it looks pretty cool, although not too sure I would want the whole car done in it. It's a nice contrast though in the areas I have it.

In the flesh, perhaps it looks better than in the photo. The 'build' description of 3D carbon leather I find a strange play on words.
I presume carbon refers to the colour. 3D is probably a simple pattern affect achieved with a hot iron machine press. With a lot of 'bum' use on the seats, in particular the driver's side, a new pattern could well emerge in time. A plain leather look would be my choice for durability and looks. Good luck I say and enjoy the TVR driving experience. Cheers.

Lol the 3D carbon leather isn't hot ironed on mate, how cheap would that look it's a strange effect but it is a tight weave, the sort you get with a wicker chair, but tighter and in leather its quite hard too ill post some close ups when I get the car back. Your right in saying it would be overkill if you had too much. On the door, binnacle area, gear stick and around dash against plain black leather/vinyl it looks effective
