Have just formally joined again having owned 4 ltr chim for 11 months. Family loves it too - 7 year old daughter egging me on got me 3 points and 13 month old son just smiles and points when he sees it. Had few minor problems (intermittant wipers, alarm reset etc) all cured by reading threads on here - so thanks for that. Have just booked into Offords for mot and service and waxoyl - again decision made with help of this forum. Offords have open day on 18th - is anyone from here going?

I`d forgotten about that - if I remember rightly, it`s just turn up rather than invite isn`t it?

Was planning to go but they haven't answered my last two e-mails. Had a call straight after the first one, then nothing a few weeks later or since. Hoped to get it booked in for 18th and confirm details of what was needed on the day.

I know I could but I wanted written quote on my requested jobs. And it's easier to without office .

I did in the end. Got a cold reception from a 'Bill' though.........

Simon rang me the following day and repaired the situation a little. I'm still going - but it appears I won't be able to do/arrange what I had hoped.

Luverly Cerb BTW David.

I've just had a service and extra work ready to sell my S3. Offords have a collection/delivery service, which means I'm not restricted to weekend visits. Unfortunately, their driver has been ill, and they were getting a little behind, but they have been friendly, I cannot fault their work from what I've seen, and their prices are very reasonable.

If anyone going to the open day is looking for an S3, shout or email and I'll bring it up, if not, I'm itching to give the Chim a run (now that I've got a new battery)
