Having had Chan spend the day looking for places in Gloucester to touch up one of my Spider alloys, and getting nowhere!, does anyone know of any good places that will not rip us off (only kurb damage around the rim) aroung our area?

Cheers

I've only heard good things about Wicked Wheels

07941 803397 is the number for the agent covering Gloucester, Cheltenham etc.

If you can hang on a day I should be able to give you a full report. I've arranged for them to sort out a couple of scuffs on the Tuscan.

Hi Chris,

I had an exchange wheel from Racing Green for £60, new for old which was good value I thought so try your local TVR dealer they may offer the same service.

A year or two ago, I did the same as you - looking for a good and reasonable wheel refurb outfit in the Chelt/Gloucs area.

I used a guy called David Wheeliker (yep, that really is his moniker!) who runs a ChipsAway outlet in Cheltenham and he did an 'ace' job at a good price. He shares a workshop with Advanced Windscreens in St. Georges Place in Cheltenham. I think he's still there.

Just noticed these 2 new posts, thanks , That does sound like a good deal Ed!, we were quoted £60 MINIMUM for a refurb from one place in Gloucester! It's only curb damage on the rim for Christ's sake!
I will ask County TVR if they have such a scheme

It was a fixed charge too, as long as wheel can be repaired and it sounds like yours can. They quoted £60 without even seeing the wheel.

Well it's back with lovely shiny alloys once more. Very very pleased. Wicked Wheels get my vote, great service and fantastic results.

Shame that someone else is going own my baby in a few days time.

Tony at Renowheel did a top job on the OZ multispokes for the Griff. Well recommended.
