Please can someone explain how i can put a photo onto a thread i have managed to put a picture of my griff on my profile that was easy, however tried fotango and the does not seem to work, it would be much simpler if ted could link a tab to enable this i am sure their are others who are as thick as me when it comes to computers.
BIG THANKS in advance

On Fotango you have an option to "get a link to this picture" or similar, click on this then right click and copy the address of the link it gives you.

Then paste it onto your post on PH putting [pic] immediately before it and [/pic] immediately after it.

Preview your reply and all should be ok.....

There are some threads about this issue in the of the website-feedback forum:
www.pistonheads.com/gassing/forum.asp?faq=true&f=24

You need to host the picture in somebody's or your webspace, and then copy the image's address from there to embed it in a thread. The profile picture works only in your profile. (looks good nevertheless )

Fotango allows you to hotlink a picture from their album, but they restrict the size, put their logo on the bottom, and have a rather complicated procedure to get a link-address for that picture.
Maybe other PHers good comment on different picture services they use?

I use Pbase.com, very easy to use and to upload to, but you can only post pictures on other websites if you're a member. Otherwise you can only post a link the the picture hosted on their site. I paid ~£5 for a years subscription, IMHO it's well worth it.

Nope astra upside down ones,a lot of work required in cutting down and a slight mod to fiberglass but well worth it.
