Wedge / S, Wedge / S, Wedge / S / TR6

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh.
S - always liked them.
Wedge - bonkers, noise, funny shape.
tr6 - wildcard, don't know why, just like them.
I can honestly say, since I was nearly run over by a Wedge in my youth I have been smitten.
Also, when out running years ago, someone started what must have been a V8s, I nearly cacked myself.
Now I have some money going into a pot for one or the other (It might take a while though) I STILL after all these years can't make my mind up.
I know no-one can do it for me, so I am blithering on like an idiot but for god's sake, it really is doing my head in.
Just thought I would share it with you

Just looked at Tripps profile as he answered a query I have about le mans.
Does look a corker, but I am adamant that I will be throwing money in a pot to pay cash for it rather than a loan etc as it will be a third car which I don't need, just want. So will be a little way off, just need a direction to look...

and therein lies a dilemma.. just say you saved around £200 a month for 3 years for your car, you've got £7k to spend on one in three years time.
Or you could buy the car today an borrow the 7k instead. This would "cost" you say £215 a month instead of the £200 you were saving up, but for the extra £15 you get to actually own the car for the three years and do some
I've just done this to fund the new Chim. I was like you going to save up the cash, but then thought sod it, for the £500 in interest the loan is going to cost me over 3 years I think I'd happily "pay" £500 to someone for the benefit of having the car now and not in 3 years time.
Life is too short, and we only get one go at it
Cheers,
Matt
* Plus if things change financially you can always sell the car to recoup the cash. A TVR should depreciate at a lot lower rate than the outstanding balance of the loan.
