I'll believe it when I see it. All the comments from "TVR" seem far too vague. Just sounds like some European teenagers dreaming IMO.

I just posted this on FB, let's wait and see what happens;

"Even IF true, i would be willing to take the gamble, but really ONLY if Smolenski will not even be vaguely or remotely involved. Because from him we are sure that he has broken too many promises, so come time of a garantee-issue i don't trust him keeping promises. With a totally new investor (deep pockets please) i would be willing to give him/them the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. I think my opinion accounts for 99% of the target-group of prospects, former regular customers and the complete ex-dealernetwork. If i get blocked for this or my reaction removed, i will post it on Pistonheads and we know immediately who is behind it and how honest and reliable their intentions are.

Its supposedly a company who have bought the rights to use the name and designs from ns. But have proffered no details and a very agressive attitude to anyone who questions them. Any truth in it fckd if i know but the need to sack the site admin as doing more harm than good!

Latest from TVR Facebook.

TVR in US MARKET.

The new SAGARIS will be available also for US market in 2013 with V8 engine.
The Limited Edition of 20 cars will be called SAGARIS 500.
The number indicates the power to weight ratio but also the memory of the iconic Griffith 500.

Hmmm, so 12 months to completely work a new car, get it approved in the UK, EU and wherever, then persuade the US authorities (good luck) to approve it. So it will only require the services of the very best automotive minds and facilities to bring it all together in that time frame. What would that cost? $50 million + ?

Garlick , Mods, whoever: can we please have a special PH section (bin) to retain all the speculative TVR teenage twaddle that seems to turn up every now and then. I know the Christmas holiday can be a bit boring for some of them, but it is a bit tiresome.
