EVENING ALL!!
Just got home from work, absolute nightmare, paperwork everywhere, gonna have to work late tomorrow too and some of the weekend! Nevermind.
So yes I am back, Serby came around yesterday, gave me a hand to lift the Griff sofa through the living room window, it's going to have to be painted the colour is minging! Gave him his vacation present guess what??
SOCKS! That'll teach him!!
Got back through customs OK with my 82 CDs (best second hand CD stores in the world), 2 Ipods, watch and a full wardrobe, phew! Mind you flying back on September 11th got a bit nervey when they threw an Iranian lady and all her baggage off the plane I was on!! Made turbulance all the worse, kept thinking they had missed a bag and it was about to launch itself through the floor!
So then the trip - superb, what can I say! Having a high-rolling brother over there is always a good start, you get to go to all the good places without having to wade through the rubbish being a standard tourist not knowing the area.
We did a great roadtrip from LA to San Francisco along the Pacific Coast Highway, always liked that road even since playing Sega Outrun as a kid!! Stayed in Monterey on the first night which is beautiful then went on to San Jose (we know a song about that don't we kids!) to watch the England game in a "British" pub up there, 105 degrees by 10.00am!! From there on to San Fran where we stayed with a mate of bro's who lives up in the Marin Mountains, the Saturday night (my birthday) we had a quality night of debauchery in SF!
Serby's seen the DVD!!!
Did a few of the touristy things like Magic Mountain etc, each time I go over I try and mix it up a bit, go somewhere and do something different each time.
Great to mee Los Angeles over there, he's just as you would imagine him - Cravat, Panama hat and blazer complete with school badge! A true gent!
Mexico, now there's a place! Some real characters down there! Bit dodgy mind you!

Anyway LA, superb to meet up, we will do it again, next time the meal's on me don't forget, oh and as for the women...
Thank you Wendy for letting me crash at your place, I was going to stay in touch but I feel our relationship has fulfilled it's true course!
Not had any kind of spin in the car yet, it's still in the bodyshop, I'm having the front end repainted to get rid of the freckles but should be back for the weekend!
