Chimaera Chassis Repair in Essex

Hi All,

Well, my Chimaera's chassis is in need of a little tlc as it has a small hole at the offside front corner at the outrigger. It's due a MOT soon (which I'm not too worried about as I'll take it to Halfords and feel certain they'll miss it for the 3rd year in a row!) but I do want to get it done this year.

I'm not looking for a full body off restoration - the bank account won't stretch to that - just want to replace the corner.

Who could you recommend in the Essex area?

a few years ago it would of been chop out the bad bit and weld in new bit (approx £300 for each bit cut out)...... now personally, I would go for full outrigger replacement (circa £1500) and I wouldn't let anyone tell me different (apart from full chassis refurb/body off)... just my opinion, and just based on reputation in this area of expertise and nothing else Sportmotive or RT Racing.

I'm sure there are plenty of others, but these two are the well publisied/reoomended for for good work

+1 for H&M they did my outrigger repairs last year.Only the front corners as I had caught the rot just in time .
