laser jammer - need advice
Discussion
I've been looking at this for some time. I already have an origin B2 in the griff, and have been thinking about fitting an lrc 100, BUT after speaking to a scamera operator (not plod) at the festival of speed, he informed me that they could now detect when they were being jammed. The result would be that the vehicle owner would be prosecuted for perverting the course of justice. How much of this is spin...well you decide...but i intend to drive defensively in areas that they opertate, and not attract attention from the non BiB camera operators.
Ive been using one for about 5 years with no probs...saved me points on at least 3 occasions.
LRC100 is the one to get with interface to Origin B2
The laser guns show up an error code when being jammed...but its the same code they get from other errors - dont worry about it myself...just use them sensibly and dont go too over the limit, switch them off once youve slowed down and let them get a reading.
Ive been doing 90mph on a clear day, light traffic motorway before and been targetted - would have got 3-6 points on each occasion. I drive 30K miles a year so need my licence...but also the chance of getting caught is very high so I need all the help I can get

Hi Zencar
I bought a laser jammer LRC100 off pistonheads and mounted it in the grill of the everyday smoker ! the best 240 quid spent ! but make sure that you mount the switch within easy reach so that when plod zaps you you can stand on the brakes and then turn it off ! plod will think his gun is a little faulty let you pass and then hit on the next punter ! ..I travel alot in the republic of Ireland ( rather quickly ! ) and it has saved my licence from the Gards many at time.....don't think you need one on your rear....if your tanking it then your long gone !....remember you MUST turn it off as soon as possible as they are illegal !

tcop no names mentioned
he said it reads error and that they often get error readings so do not worry about it, this has saved me on several occasions, i never switch this off.
