Chimaera - mileage v cost

I am looking to buy one of two Chimaeras and would appreciate some expert opinion ! Both cars are 1999 and in the same colour and in good order. They have different mileages - one has 20,000 and one 65,000. The difference in price is £5,000. So my question is - is it worth spending an extra £5k to buy a car with 45,000 less miles ?

I doubt it is worth that sort of delta. A regularly used car tends to be better in my opinion.

Buy on condition, not mileage.

Chimaera do range in price wildly! Buyimg on condition is the right thibg to do, lower mileage should give a better condition car but not always the case. I recently went to view an XJR with 45,000 miles on it expecting it to be mint. Mine with 100K on it was a better car!
I have a 98 in Starmist Blue with magnolia interior that I will sell if I can get sensible money for it.
It has only 35,000 miles on and it is an exceptional example with estorill wheels, virtually new Toyo tyres all round new Racing Red Shocks and springs.

This - with any TVR you should always look at condition before age or mileage.
A cheap car doesn't always mean a bargain, same goes for low mileage.
