Anyone here from Rochdale? Saw a lovely Tuscan (W-reg, metallic grey/brown [?]) around 19:30 on Queens Park Road and a dark(ish) blue Chimaera (looked similar colour to mine!) being driven by a blond with her top off going through Norden about 17:30 towards Owd Betts.
I know Al Melling lives locally, but I don't think he or Margaret drive a TVR anymore....

I live in Rochdale! (well Littleborough actually).
There's probably loads of us here but not many are willing to admit it

I drive a light metallic blue 400SE. You'll probably hear me before you see me.

I also saw that grey Tuscan in Milnrow yesterday.

Oh and I have a mate with a dark blue S3 who lives in Littleborough also.

Welcome to the club.

That's a bit worrying isn't it? He designed the damn engines! Mind you the Speed Six does seem to be getting a bad reputation...

I just live over the hill from Rochdale in Ripponden. My sister lives in Milnrow. So if you see a green Chimaera around there - give me a wave!

By the way .........watch out for the speed traps on Rochdale road heading out of Littleborough up towards the White House pub. They have a camera in an unmarked van!!!

Saw a dark blue S3 parked outside B&Q, Sandhurst Park, today about 5:30pm - must have been him....

Anyone up for a Rochdale / West Yorks meet up on the Pennines then? Could meet at the White House, have a blat across the moors and then finish at the Spring Rock (on the way to Greetland) for pies and ale???

A Blat could be fun!

The Moorcock (no giggling at the back!) - which is at the bottom of the hill before you get to the White house - Has a biggerr car park and a beer garden. Plus I know the owners. So it could be a better place to meet.

Any ideas for a route?

I'm on holiday from 20th-27th July though.

Bob.

B&Q. That reminds me, next company car needs to be a diesel estate. No godd shoving 7' lengths of 2x2" in the back of the Trev!.

OK, the Moorcock sounds a good starting point. Could make it the first Sunday lunchtime in August? How would that suit and how many can we expect???? Hopefully the weather will be better than Chatsworth!!

PS Seen a "Swordfish" Tuscan in Greetland/West Vale/Elland during the week sometimes, anyone here?

Sunday 28th looks good - that would make 4 cars if everyone on this thread turns up. Will see if we can pull some Manchester and West Yorks crowd in too???

4 cars, wowee! bobfrance, are you going to ask your mate with the S3 along (or whoever the lady was that I flashed at in L'boro last night ) - that would make 5...

28th sounds good to me!

I think the girly you flashed was probably my mate's good lady wife. I also flashed her at about 5.30 that same evening. I'm sure she was quite pleased to be flashed twice in one night
Unlike my mate who was obviously relegated to the Mondeo.

I'll ask him along. Are we bringing our other halfs or is this a men only do? So we can talk about cams & tread patterns and really anorak it up?

BTW: I'll be incommunicado (no PC) for the rest of this week, but rest assured if it's still on, I'll be there.

Anybody care to name a time?
