Time for a service - Neil Garner or Str8Six
Discussion
I'm sure both are good but I personally find that Jason and his team at Str8six go that extra mile.
My first experience with Str8six was a 12k service on my Cerbera.
Jason listed all the faults that he had found and prioritised them and costed them individually,
This in turn allowed me to pick and choose what works I had carried out and when.
This summary wasn't requested its part of his service package.
When the service was complete the car was returned cleaned .... That's a nice touch.
He also gave me a card with his personal mobile No, I've not had reason to call but I know of others that have called at some odd times and according to them he's been happy to help.
The personal touch goes along way in my opinion.
Over the last 12 months I've had various upgrades to the Cerb and a chassis rebuild on my Tuscan,
I can't fault there professionalism and customer service.
I'm in no way associated with Str8six, just a very happy customer

I used Neil from his early days when he was more Porsche orientated, but soon took in TVRs.
No issues, fixed a number of "features" my car developed and has a personable nature. Don't believe he does in-house engineering such as full-engine rebuilds or transmission rebuilds - but does do cams, clutches, suspension and all servicing are all in-house.
Str8Six, I believe started out as an ex-TVR employee, does a lot of in-house rebuilds and by reputation by one TVR Speed Champ Winner, 2010 - Slideways - has always spoken highly of them.
Come to Garner's 30 Mar and speak to Neil, see the customers, workshops and judge one side for yourself?
Neither will fail you??

P.S. Does have a soft spot for the Tamora - speaks highly of them & their characteristics.

Can't speak for Neil but have used Str8six for the last 4 years for servicing/upgrades. Great dedicated knowledgable team. My service experience reflects DJR 7's could not ask for more (other than to borrow Jasons Sag whilst mine is in for service
)
If nobody has killed them yet the remaining 2 Perodua's Jason runs are fantastic fun as courtesy cars .

I can't speak for Str8Six as I have never used them however, I have used Neil Garner many times now and cannot fault their work. Friendly, honest and thorough is how I would describe them.

I think mine was one of the first TVR's Neil started looking after (notice I saw look after - he doesn't work on them), and I've taken it nowhere else apart from some shyster in Northamptonshire who damaged my car, stole goods from me and closed his business when I successfully won in court.
Hence mine goes nowhere else.
Neil has a big, friendly, brilliantly technical team around him and has a good office staff backing up that work now. Always goes the extra mile.
My car is there having a full body off chassis rebuild and refresh lots of other stuff.
However, I also know people who use Jason at Str8Six, who have nothing but praise for his work.
Lucky for us to be spoilt for choice.

I concur with all of the above. No superficial 6k or 12k services here. Jason and his team get down to the nitty gritty stuff. They are pickier than I am and that's really saying something. When I first used STR8SIX, they picked up on a myriad of minor (but nevertheless niggly) stuff that the previous garage had never looked for or even noticed (including simply testing that all functions on the alarm were working properly and affectively - turned out the alarm solenoid/sensor had been put back under the tunnel cover upside down). I have had nothing short of complete honesty, consummate professionalism and unparalleled attention to detail from Jason and his team over the last few years, to the extent that I choose to make the 500 mile round trip every year, just so STR8SIX can look after my car.My first experience with Str8six was a 12k service on my Cerbera.

Don't know where you live but Racing Green nr Farnborough gets my vote
Is the above comment a joke?! STR8SIX are awesome, had lots of work done there. had the pleasure of speaking to the guys at Neil Garners and they seem very great but not had any experience other than conversation. Either of those 2 would be spot on from reviews.
