Chassis refurb p/coat or 2 pack paint job

If you were going to the expense of having a body off chassis refurb,would you go for the powder coating or 2 pack paint after blasting the chassis?

Two pack paint for the first sprayed on coat straight after shot/bead blast.

4 more coats of single pack epoxy primer alternating between red and grey to ensure max coverage.

Top coat bright red machine enamel, and final coat of laquer for stone chip protection.

Its a lot of work but well worth it. Im 3 years on now and it still looks as good as the day it was done.

Also very easy to touch up any damage which will happen as you begin to reassemble it all.

Powdercoat is a lot easier but im not convinced of its long term success......I.M.O

Dont judge powdercoating on TVR'S miserable efforts though, what can be achieved today is far,far superior.

I was rebuilding my car over the winter so was quite happy spending a few hours each evening painting in the garage.

We use grit blast followed by hot zinc spray then powder coat.
The company who do it say you don't need the powder coat as the zinc is good enough on its own. They do railings on Southsea sea front that way.
For a car chassis the powder coating puts it back to the colour it came from the factory or any colour of your choice.
