Decent garage

Hi all,

I have a 1994 Griff 500, my mechanic recenlty retired,can anyone reccomend a good alternative in the Southampton (Hampshire) area ?

Andy at APM just up the A3 is a sound bet.

+1. Andy is rebuilding my race Tuscan engine as we speak, plus doing other race prep work. Believe it or not, he came very highly recommended by 2 other very well known and respected TVR specialists! Speaks volumes.

It is Don, although it doesn't quite feel like it as I haven't even driven her yet! Hopefully Andy will have located a new steel billet crank this week and can begin to put the engine back together again. Nice, trick Ohlins shocks have gone to Aurok for refreshing. Can't wait to get some seat time and feel what she's like on track, with new slick rubber and the 6 speed sequential box. Childlike excitement

Couple of folks in the Hants TVR club have posted on these guys...I believe someone is organising a visit for the club region.

I would also point you in the direction of Williams Street Garage not far from St.Mary's/Saints ground. Mike, one of the mechanics, has run a Chimaera, now owns a Cerbera and the garage also services other TVR's from Ocean Village residents. They also look after an Ultima and I've seen some older Astons in there.
