Griff engine bay wiring loom removal
Discussion
I have the engine out and now need to remove the loom from the engine bay. Question is how?
Do I have to remove the dash or the centre consol or both to feed the loom through the body work? Also pressumably looking at the ECU connector the loom pulls through into the car as opposed to pulling it into the engine bay?
Thanks

As above, i`d pull through into the engine bay. It may pull into the car if you remove the gromet, but definately wont with the gromet in place.
The dash will have to come off at very least more than likely the dash surround as well as the surround edging goes very close to the gromet hole which will make things a little tight manouvering wise. Taking the surround off is only about 8 bolts and will make life much easier. Just unscrew the 2 bolts holding the steering column to allow it to fall a few inches and it will just lift out.
