Best windscreen wipers
Discussion
Car originally had Bosch wipers fitted but I didnt find they worked too well. Use the cheapest Halfords ones now which seem to work quite well for a month or two, but then deteriorate.
They then start leaving smears along the line of where the little metal feet that hold the rubber. Are there any makes that work better?
Cheers

Just get some new Bosch ones with spoilers for driver side and also buy some Rain-X

Ok, if I can sort it out, how many of you would be interested in some curved wipers from PIAA? www.piaa.co.uk/wipers/wipers.asp - towards the bottom of the page.
Thanks,
Steve

I would! My brother had some PIAA silicon jobbies on his Scoob - damn fine wipers.

I would be interested!
I spoke to PIAA. Regarding the SAAB wipers they agreed yes they're curved, but said a larger blade is used because of the larger screen, so it may not be possible to get these to fit. Regarding screens on TVRs, they felt it unlikely TVR would change screens between cars since the tooling costs are huge, therefore something that fits a Chimaera or Griff would also fit a Tuscan, Tamora or T350. This would mean a larger market for PIAA and therefore it's more likely they'd produce something to suit TVRs.
Here's hoping it works out,
