Removing Wiper Motor

I need to move the wiper motor to spray the engine bay on my Griff. I have removed the motor bracket and can now lift the motor and gearbox up but still not far enough away to spray. If I undo the brass nut to the left of the gearbox will I be able to slide the motor and gearbox off the wiper rod and lift it away? If not what do I need to do to get the motor and gearbox off? Have consulted the bible but unfortunately it doesnt cover dismantling the motor and gearbox.

You need to undo the large nut, open the gearbox and remove the pin securing the cable.
