Recently had the same problem on my Cerbera. Tried some general purpose cloth/upholstery adhesives which failed after a few weeks.
I called Woolies who specialise in car interior trim and they were very helpful. Apparently finding the right adhesive for keeping headlinings up is a common problem and they specifically recommended a special heat resisitent adhesive for the job. I've just received some in the post but haven't got round to applying it yet. I believe the product code is S1358/AF178 but best call them up and first check that this is ok for the type of headlining material you have in your car.

Went to art shop and bought strongest spray adhesive they had [according to sales bod], and it's held just fine. I think it's actually for sticking things on card. Managed to get adhesive between lining and roof with WD40 style spray head and extension tube thing poked through weave in fabric. 2 years on and it's still OK.
