Quick question! How long should it take for a reasonably well-equipped garage to carry out pre-cat removal on a griff? Three hours? Maybe longer?

Depends if they are used to taking manifolds off or not, the job it's self isn't difficult

As disco said, if they are a tiv Indy, probably 4 hours, if just a garage they could drag it out to a day!
